The Mystic Krewe of Barkus Parade

We are in Carnival season full swing now, here in New Orleans. It’s a bit hard to drive around the city, but I took the ferry across the river this afternoon to witness the Barkus (for pooches) parade in the French Quarter – with a pirate theme (what else?) – complete with beads and Milk Bones for throws.
