Bread Pudding with Sautéed Pears for Fall

Your LA2LA Chef just returned from Tampa where she appeared on Daytime TV demoing my  recipe for Bread Pudding with Sautéed Pears.

I really enjoyed Tampa, and especially want to send thanks out to Nonnie Slater (who I play Scrabble with online- isn’t the Internet a great tool?) who drove over from Plant City, FL to take me to lunch in Ybor City – the historically Cuban sector of Tampa, and to Mark Finkle (a fellow Cuba tourist), who drove over from The Villages, FL and took me to dinner in the charming little town of Safety Harbor, and especially to Raymond James, who partially sponsored the trip, and hosted me at their headquarters in St. Petersburg.

The clip just aired today on WFLA in Tampa, and is syndicated on over 100 markets throughout the country, so keep an eye out for it.

And please take a look at the recipe again. It’s a super tasty and economical dessert to serve now that fall is in the air, and there are so many great pears in the market. Ah- and a big thanks again to all the people at Daytime TV who were so friendly and welcoming.

UPDATE- Hey, Hey! the clip of me on Daytime TV is now available, and here it is:
